The first real concert I ever went to was Dropkick Murphy's with two guys from high school when I was 16. I still can't believe my parents ever let me go... but I don't think they really knew exactly what I was going to anyway. I probably told them it was celtic music.
I relived a bit of high school on my iTunes today. I'm really glad I saw so much live music in high school, even if it was crazy. I appreciate those times the same way I'm glad I gained appreciation for and saw Bob Dylan and Tom Petty while I was in college. Some of my weirdest and best memories are from concerts.
Nice.
Still one of my favorite running songs.

Weird Al is SO, SOOOOO much cooler than my first concert. Also, I used to have my own lyrics for 'champs elysees' since I didn't (and still don't) understand french.
My first concert was Anti-Flag at the Brick Works in Chico. I'm gonna go cry in a corner now.
